Updated November 2024
The Government of Iceland has finally issued a Roadmap for H2 and e-fuels https://www.stjornarradid.is/library/02-Rit--skyrslur-og-skrar/URN/240509_URN_Vetnisvegvisir_V3.pdf
Government has continued to provide support for all zero emission vehicles, mainly focused towards passenger vehicles and in 2024 fixed funding has also been issued for trucks and buses. First H2 truck applications have been approved and trucks are expected to Iceland in July 2024. This has been done in widespread collaboration of Nordic stakeholders, for example the Nordic Hydrogen Partnership https://www.nordichydrogenpartnership.com/ .
