Education is crucial to the global transition to a hydrogen economy, as it provides political leaders, technical specialists, and lay people with the knowledge necessary to play appropriate roles in the transition to a hydrogen-based energy infrastructure.  For many people, whether energy specialists or members of the global general public, hydrogen represents a dramatically new and different energy currency.  Extensive education programs are needed to teach both the fundamental concepts of a hydrogen economy, with a particular emphasis on hydrogen safety, as well as the specialized information and skills that this economy will require.   

In response to these needs, the member governments of the IPHE have developed educational materials intended for a variety of audiences.  Provided on this page are a number of links to materials according to the audience for which they were designed.
