Project Recognition

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS

OVERVIEW

The IPHE seeks to recognize leading and innovative international hydrogen and fuel cell projects that can accelerate the cost-effective transition to a global hydrogen economy to enhance energy security and environmental protection. Private, government and NGO sponsors of international hydrogen and fuel cell projects are invited to apply for official recognition of their projects by the IPHE.

Approaching the halfway point of its initial mandate, IPHE has redefined its priorities and is seeking projects that reflect these new directions. IPHE will continue to recognize RD&D projects but would also like to recognize deployment, policy and education projects.

IPHE Priorities:

  • Accelerating the market penetration and early adoption of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies and its supporting infrastructure
  • Policy and regulatory actions to support widespread deployment
  • Raising profile with policy-makers and public; continuing education (ILC) and outreach (SC) efforts
  • Monitor hydrogen, fuel cell and complementary technology developments

Project sponsors must submit nominations through their respective IPHE Implementation-Liaison Committee (ILC) representatives (listed below); however, please feel free to contact the IPHE Secretariat if you have any questions regarding this process.
