from India will offer a presentation on their recent hydrogen and fuel
cell activities.
+Although it is a
departure from previous meetings, any ILC member with new information
since the last meeting in Rio de Janeiro in March 2005 to report is
welcome to request time in this session. Please notify the
Secretariat by 9 January 2005 of interest in providing a 5 - 10 minute
presentation. Members are encouraged to prepare longer presentations
that will be available on the IPHE website, but review of the
presentations at the meeting should be kept to 5 - 10 minutes.

discussion on how IPHE projects will be recommended for endorsement
and reviewed upon approved.

The Huangpu River
Cruise Reception will depart via shuttle from the lobby of the
Renaissance Yangtze Hotel at 17.50. The group will return to the
Hotel by 20.15.

The ILC Co-Chairs will review the lessons learned and
results from the Scoping Paper Teams activities, including the
organization and implementation of IPHE Technical Workshops, and the
continuation of these groups.
+
The ILC meeting participants will discuss a pathway
forward for Work Groups that provide consistent structure for
implementation of the IPHE activities that are on an expert level.
+
Steve Chalk, U.S., will offer a brief presentation
related to potential Demonstration Task Force activities.
+
Thorsteinn Sigfusson will offer a presentation on the
Hydrogen Education Task Force activities and draft scoping paper.
+
Lars Sjunneson, IEA Fuel Cell Implementing Agreement,
and Nick Beck, IEA Hydrogen Implementing Agreement, have been invited
to offer an update on recent activities and opportunities for
collaboration with IPHE.

The ILC members will discuss improving the coordination
between IPHE and IEA activities in order to achieve greater efficiency
and leveraging of resources dedicated to hydrogen and fuel cell R,D&D.

The ILC members will discuss the IPHE Events Guidance
Paper and determine whether to establish permanent procedures and
criteria for endorsing IPHE Events.

ILC members will discuss and determine whether to
approve proposals for endorsement of IPHE Events.

The Secretariat
will offer an update and a request for member input on the Steering
Committee task to develop a “Brief for Policy Makers” on hydrogen and
fuel cells.
The Secretariat
will offer a presentation on the development of a Compendium of
Funding Resources that identifies the available resources for hydrogen
and fuel cell R,D&D.
Mr. Jeff
Serfass, Executive Director of the Partnership for Advancing the
Transition to Hydrogen (PATH), will offer a presentation to the
members on a proposal to work with the IPHE Secretariat to develop an
IPHE Resource on international safety, codes and standards. This
unique resource would require joint funding from IPHE members.

Vice-Chairs

At the ILC meeting in Brazil in March 2005, members
approved the continuation of the current ILC Co-Chair positions but
did not address the Vice-Chairs. ILC members will address this issue
by determining which members will serve as Vice-Chairs for the next
two-year term.
